SPLIT -- Croatian shipyard Brodosplit has said they have signed contracts to build two ships worth more than 200 million euros.

The contracts are for a luxury megayacht and a polar cruiser.

“We are sure that we will meet the deadlines that are in 2025. One ship is 125 meters, extravagant in various aspects for only 12 passengers and 50 crew members. The polar cruiser is 110 meters long, for 152 passengers and 111 crew members,” Dino Donjerković, Brodosplit’s sales director, told HRT.

This is great news from the Split shipyard, which built Golden Horizon, the world’s largest clipper.

Brodosplit also has experience building a number of multi-million euro polar cruisers. Back in April, it handed over the €100 million-plus polar cruiser “Ultramarine” to American company Quark Expeditions.
